2008 Cary Homes For Sale

There are expected to be more Cary homes for sale in the next few weeks as we enter the busiest selling season of the year. In reviewing closed sales statistics for Cary Homes each month since December of 2005, the most sales on Cary homes occurred in the months of March - April and May. That suggests that contracts were written in February - March and April. This information suggests that there are more buyers in those months. Our role in selling your Cary real estate is to bring as many buyers to your home during the listing period in order to identify the best buyer for your property. You have the best chance of attracting an offer on your home in these months. When listing Cary real estate it is best to price it reasonably at the start. Using one of the Cary homes on the market at an example, it was listed at nearly 50,000 higher than was suggested nearly a year ago in prepartion for the spring market. Nearly a year later the home is still on the market and has dropped its price significantly. However, it is now a year later and homes around it have sold for less, bringing its value down. The point is that the expected sale price last year in no longer expected and it is anticipated that it will sell for even less now. The message here it to price the home right at the beginning and you stand a better chance of selling at a higher price.
